Bollinger and his brother Mark own Barnes-Bollinger Insurance Services, Inc. The company specializes in business, personal, life, health, and other related insurance services.
Bollinger is a past advisory board member of several insurance companies. He has served as Chairman of the Board of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce and is currently on the board of trustees for Carroll Lutheran Village. He also serves on the board of directors at Westminster Union Bank.
Bollinger is also the chair of the lead gifts division of Partners, the college’s major gifts campaign. In this position, he enlists support for contributions of $100,000 or more over five years.
“I am impressed with the value and quality of the education at Carroll,” said Bollinger. “The college affords students the opportunity to live, become educated, and work in this community. The college is an incredibly well-run operation, thanks to a wonderful president, administration, and faculty,” he said.
Bollinger added that he will encourage the members of the board of trustees to continue to actively support college activities, events, and initiatives.
“I am pleased and honored that Dave Bollinger has become chair of the board of trustees,” said Dr. Faye Pappalardo, president of Carroll. “He has been a strong supporter and advocate of Carroll over the years. He has given generously of his time and resources. I am extremely grateful for his financial support and stewardship of our Major Gifts Campaign lead gifts division.”
Barbara H. Biller, president of IntelliTECH, Inc., will be the new vice-chair. She joined the board
of trustees in December, 2004.
