Credit enrollment at the college is at an all-time high, with this fall's headcount officially at 4,108. This is the eleventh consecutive year fall enrollment has increased. Fall full-time-equivalent (FTE) enrollment is also at a record high, reaching 1,265. FTEs are based on the total student hours generated by student course enrollments. While headcount indicates the number of different individuals taking classes at a given time, full-time-equivalent provides a picture of overall enrollment activity and is used in the state's funding formula for community colleges.
Full-time students, those enrolled for at least 12 hours in the fall, increased 3.6 percent. Part-time students increased six percent. Enrollment was measured at the end of the third week of classes.
