Official, third week enrollment numbers are in for
Spring 2002 and reveal double-digit increases!
Total credit headcount increased over 11 percent
from spring 2001 to reach 2,413. Both full-time and part-time enrollments
were up from a year ago.
Full-time-equivalent (FTE) enrollment, used by the
state for determining part of the college's funding, increased 13.8
percent. FTEs are based on the total student credit hours generated
by student course enrollments. While headcount indicates the number
of different individuals taking classes in a given time period,
full-time-equivalents provide a better picture of total enrollment
activity.
