Dr. Pappalardo Named One of Maryland’s Top 100 Women
College president Dr. Faye Pappalardo.

College president Dr. Faye Pappalardo has been named one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women for her professional accomplishments, volunteer contributions, community service, and mentoring activities. The Top 100 Women program was established by the business periodical The Daily Record in 1996, to recognize professionally successful women who are bettering the communities in which they work and live.

“To be included in this statewide recognition is a personal and professional honor. I am particularly pleased because the award reflects well on Carroll Community College,” said Dr. Pappalardo.

Dr. Pappalardo has served as president of the college since 1999 and began working at Carroll in 1988.

This year’s recipients will be celebrated at a ceremony at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore on May 18th. Past winners of the award will be invited to join in this 10th anniversary celebration of the Top 100 Women program.
