On Friday, September 26, 2014, Carroll Community College dedicated the Pappalardo Nursing and Health Care Education Center at its Washington Road campus in Westminster. The event was held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The building was named in honor of Dr. Faye Pappalardo, who retired on June 30, 2014 after serving 15 years as president of the college.
The building houses Nursing, Physical Therapist Assistant, Emergency Medical Services and other related programs.
“Dr. Pappalardo has an enduring passion for educating health care professionals. With her leadership, she helped secure funding for the building and supported the development of one of the finest Nursing programs in the state,” said college president Dr. James D. Ball.
Carroll has graduated 576 students from its Associate Degree Nursing Program and 329 graduates from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
