Student Advocacy Day

On Wednesday, February 11, students from Carroll Community College travelled to Annapolis for Student Advocacy Day to meet with senators and delegates who represent Carroll County. The event is an annual activity in which students from Maryland’s 16 community colleges meet with their legislators to discuss their personal experiences with community colleges. Student Advocacy Day is organized by the Maryland Association of Community Colleges. The legislators who met with students from Carroll included Senator Justin Ready, Delegate Susan Krebs and Delegate Haven Shoemaker.
