Employees Generously Support Annual Campaign
The Carroll Community College Foundation has successfully completed a giving campaign supported by employees and retirees. Co-chairs Cindy Larrick and Dr. Michael Stovall worked with team leaders to contact their peers on behalf of the campaign.

Eighty-four percent of all full-time faculty and staff donated. Twenty part-time employees also supported the campaign. Retirees have recently been asked to become involved, as well. Annual Campaign contributions totaled $45,472.

"I am pleased that so many members of our faculty and staff felt strongly about giving to the college Foundation," said College President Dr. Faye Pappalardo. "This level of giving indicates that our employees believe in the need for student scholarships."

"Each year we are honored by the outstanding support of the faculty and staff at Carroll Community College," said Executive Director of the Foundation Steven Wantz. "Staff are not only generous with their financial support, but also give substantially of their time to make the campaign so successful. It is so important for the community to see that those closest to the organization believe wholeheartedly in our mission and in those whom we serve."

"Carroll Community College has given me a new outlook on life," said 2010 graduate Loretta Grieves. "Had I not walked in the doors of the college in the summer of 2007, I would not be where I am today. I give thanks to the faculty and staff for believing in me and the programs made available to me through the College Foundation Office. All of my accomplishments would not be possible had I not been given the opportunity to attend Carroll. My opportunity was made possible because of generous donors who support the college."
