Official Year-end Enrollment Reports Show 14 Percent Increase

Full-time-equivalent (FTE) enrollment, the way the state measures student attendance for official recordkeeping and funding, increased over 14 percent in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2001 compared to the year before. Due largely to the new, 17-week, entry-level police academies, noncredit enrollment increased 31 percent. Degree-credit enrollment was up nine percent.
