Record Number of Credit Students Enrolled in FY2002

A total of 3,747 different individuals took one or more credit classes at Carroll Community College during the fiscal year ending June 30, 2002. This was the highest unduplicated credit headcount in college history, and represented a 6.6 percent increase over FY2001.

The number of individuals served by noncredit courses offered by Continuing Education and Training (CET) was 7,226. While a six percent decline from the year before, this was the third highest unduplicated annual noncredit headcount in college history.

Nearly twice as many individuals enrolled in noncredit courses as in credit classes. However, due to their typically shorter duration, noncredit courses generate less full-time-equivalent (FTE) enrollments than credit classes.
