Illusionist to be Featured at Starry Night December 9th

On Friday, Dec. 9, 2011 at 6 p.m., Starry Night will kick-off the holiday season with a benefit performance by illusionist Jason Bishop. The annual fundraiser, now in its sixth year, is sponsored by the Carroll Community College Foundation to support students at the college.

This year's event features a formal cocktail hour followed by a performance by illusionist Jason Bishop. Bishop might have a person passing through his body one moment, or make a goldfish appear from nowhere the next. He was the youngest person to win the Magician's Alliance of Eastern States Stage Award and is currently the only illusionist touring the U.S. with the rare Double Levitation, Plasma Illusion, and Op-Art performances.

The Jason Bishop Show features exclusive large illusions, award-winning sleight of hand, and close-up magic that is captured live and projected onto LCD screens with a clear view of every detail.

Starry Night proceeds benefit the Carroll Community College Foundation. Through the Foundation's efforts, events like Starry Night provide support for student scholarships, instructional technology, and other needs of the college.

For more information about Starry Night, please contact the Carroll Community College Foundation Office at 410-386-8152, visit www.carrollcc.edu, or e-mail kmayan@carrollcc.edu.
