Starry Night to Feature “The Hit Men”

On December 7 at 6 p.m., Starry Night will kick-off the holiday season with a reception followed by a performance by the musical group "The Hit Men." The annual fundraiser is organized by the Carroll Community College Foundation to support student scholarships and programs at the college.

The 60's, 70's and 80's were a golden era for songwriting. During that period, acts like Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, Tommy James and The Shondells, and other chart-busting groups created beloved hits that have been heard for generations. Now, after decades behind the scenes, some of the artists who were instrumental in the success of these fabulous songs have reunited to form "The Hit Men."

"The Hit Men" include three of the original members of Franki Valli and The Four Seasons, two from Tommy James' Shondells, two founding members of The Critters, and band-mates who played and performed with Jim Croce, Cat Stevens, Carly Simon and other mega-star acts.
