Twenty-six Graduate from Practical Nursing Program

Carroll Community College recently celebrated the achievements of 26 students graduating from the Practical Nursing Program. A pinning ceremony was held on July 23 at which Nancy Perry, director of the college's nursing program, congratulated the members of the second Practical Nursing class to graduate from Carroll.

Graduating were Michele J. Berg, Deborah L. Beveridge, Natalie Marie Bonsby, Carmen Frazier Bosen, Heidi Rebecca Browning, Jaya S. Cook, Zelda Yvonne Dixon-Crawford, Kelly Patricia Damaska, Melanie Lee Federman, Kelly Anne Forrester, Vernon E. Grier, Jr., Shari L. Hames, Karen Leigh Jones, Kimberly E. Jones, Michelle Lynn Jones, Sarah M. King, Michele Ann Mansfield, Christina Marie Parker, Betsy Marie Price, Molly Elizabeth Rindt, Delorine Marie Samuels, Nicole Marie Schaefer, Stephanie Stein Smith, Amberly Faith Villard, Cynthia D. Wantz, and Jessica P. Zittle.

The Carroll County General Hospital Clinical Excellence Award was presented to Jaya Cook by Jeanne DeCosmo, RN, Director of Learning Center and Health Services at Carroll County General Hospital. Molly Rindt received the Springfield Hospital Center Highest Scholastic Average Award from Paula Langmead, CEO of Springfield Hospital Center. Christina Parker received the Carroll Community College Practical Nursing Program Achievement Award.
