Joyce Sebian Wins MAHE Award

Joyce Sebian, the college's support services specialist, was honored by the Maryland Association for Higher Education (MAHE) with its Outstanding Advisor-Mentor Award at its annual fall conference on October 25, 2002. Ms. Sebian was commended for her dedication to students and specifically for her work with students with disabilities.

MAHE was founded in 1946 and comprises individuals and institutions committed to the advancement of higher education in Maryland. Through its conferences, website, publications, and awards, MAHE promotes communication among faculty, administrators, and support staff in all segments of higher education in Maryland. In addition to its Outstanding Advisor-Mentor award, MAHE recognizes an Outstanding Faculty Member and an Outstanding Administrator in its biennial awards program.
