College Open House to be Held Monday February 17th
Recruiter and academic advisor Summerlea Klinar visits the county's high schools each semester to discuss the advantages of a Carroll education.

Carroll Community College will hold an Open House on Monday morning, February 17, 2003, from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Although all are welcome, this event will focus on opportunities for high school students and others interested in full-time study. Learn how you can begin any bachelor's degree at Carroll. It's the "smart start" to college!

Carroll is half the cost of a University of Maryland campus and a fourth the cost of a private college. Why pay more? Enjoy small classes, personal attention, and the latest technology at Carroll and save for your junior and senior years.

Rebekah Briner, recipient of the President's Academic Excellence Award for 2002, won a $10,500 transfer scholarship to Towson University.

The Open House will cover the admissions process, financial aid, and student support services. Faculty will be available to discuss careers and programs of study. A special session for parents of prospective students will be held to address any questions about a Carroll education.

Ask what Carroll can do for you this President's Day! Call 410-386-8435 to register. Pre-registration recommended but not required. See you on February 17th!
