Book Fair March 5-6

The Annual Random House Book Fair will be held on Friday, March 5 and Saturday, March 6. This annual event combines a literary venue with family activities, which have become a Carroll County tradition. Proceeds from the event benefit student scholarships.

Friday, March 5th, 2010
Senior Citizen Activities:
• Timothy Dixon/Author Book Talk 1:30pm – M157
• Memoirs Workshop, 1:30pm/M161 – presented by Dr. Ken Shook
• Book Sales – 2:30 – 4:30pm

Book Fair Kickoff:
• Two Movie Showings: 4:30 pm & 7:00pm Featuring the movie "Planet 51" – tickets go on sale Monday, March 1st
• 7:00pm – Coffeehouse Readings with author Marion Winik

Saturday, March 6th
9:00am
• Annual Random House Book Fair Opens Doors
• WTTR Remote Broadcast – (9am-11am)

Random House Book Fair ends

Members of the musical group "Barrage" and college president Dr. Faye Pappalardo meet after a high-energy holiday show during the "Starry Night" gala on December 10, 2009 in the Theater in the Scott Center. Over 300 patrons attended the event, which is a signature fundraiser for the Carroll Community College Foundation. Proceeds benefit student scholarships.
