Louna Primm

Louna S. Primm, executive vice president at New Windsor State Bank in Taneytown, will deliver the Commencement Address at Carroll Community College’s 16th commencement ceremony. The ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 3 p.m. at McDaniel College.

“Mrs. Primm and her husband Lee have been long-time supporters of Carroll Community College,” said College President Dr. Faye Pappalardo. “I am honored that Mrs. Primm has accepted my invitation to be our Commencement speaker.”

At New Windsor State Bank, Primm directs activities and provides guidance to commercial and retail lending departments. Primm is president of the board of directors of the Carroll Community College Foundation, which cultivates community donations to benefit the college, primarily student scholarships. An active member of the community, Primm is also chairperson of the Carroll Lutheran Village board of trustees and volunteers on various other boards and committees. She was chosen by the Daily Record as one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women in 2003 and 2005. In 2008, the Primms were honored by The Rotary Club of Westminster as the 2008 “Outstanding Citizens of the Year.”
