College Foundation Introduces President's Society

College President Dr. Faye Pappalardo has launched a new initiative of the college Foundation called the President's Society.

As a new form of outreach to donors, the President's Society cultivates donations which become earmarked for the President to use as unrestricted funds for student scholarships, service-learning opportunities, and other needs that are determined by Dr. Pappalardo.

The funds do not support personnel or capital requests.
Several donors have already embraced the concept of the President's Society and have given generously.

"The President's Society supports important initiatives that show a pressing need. For example, students involved in service-learning trips to help low-income citizens in other regions may be granted small scholarships," said Dr. Pappalardo. "Such volunteer work becomes more affordable to students at a time when their financial resources are already stretched."
