Plan to Attend Financial Aid Workshop on December 9

On Thursday, December 9, 2004, Carroll Community College will host a Financial Aid Workshop. The workshop will begin at 7:00 p.m. and last two hours. Discover all the resources available to you for financing a college education.
The workshop will cover Federal grants and work-study programs, Maryland State financial aid programs, institutional scholarships, deferred payment plans, and application procedures and deadlines for filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The workshop is open to everyone, not just those planning on attending Carroll Community College. Learn how to finance your own road to a college degree and a better life!

Record High 11,879 Students Served Last Year

In fiscal year 2004, a total of 11,879 people enrolled in classes at Carroll. This was a record annual headcount for the college, topping FY2003 by 84 students. Two-thirds had taken one or more noncredit classes at Carroll. The number enrolling in credit classes exceeded 4,000 for the first time. Three percent, or 357 students, enrolled in both credit and noncredit classes at Carroll during the year.
