11th Annual Starry Night to Feature Billy Joel Music

Carroll Community College will hold its annual Starry Night benefit gala on Friday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. at the college. The evening will feature a performance by “Mike DelGuidice-Celebrating the Music of Billy Joel” and include a formal cocktail hour, silent and live auctions, and a dessert reception. In addition to his tribute band, DelGuidice also tours with Billy Joel, playing acoustic guitar and singing background vocals and duets.

Proceeds from Starry Night benefit the students and programs of Carroll. Erin Finn is one such student. Finn, in her second year at Carroll, recently received a scholarship to help offset the cost of higher education. Finn is a Criminal Justice major who plans to graduate in spring, 2017.

“My heartfelt message to our donors is that their investment in my future has been incredibly humbling” said Finn. “I intend to live up to the expectations set by my instructors, my peers and most importantly, myself.”

This is the 11th year of Starry Night at Carroll. The event has evolved into a popular holiday tradition in support of higher education in the county.
