Outreach activities are an important component of the college’s marketing program. Participation in community events provides visibility and allows for personal contact with college representatives. Events have included the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce Expo, the Freedom Area Health Expo, the Hampstead and South Carroll Business Expos, the Sykesville Fall Festival, and Westminster Fallfest. The college’s presence at these events depends upon employee volunteers.
