People often ask, what is the average age of a Carroll Community College student? According to the Institutional Research Office, the average or mean age of credit students in Fall 2007 was 24 years of age. The average ages of full-time and part-time students differ, with 20 the average age of full-time students compared to an average age of 28 for part-time students. The youngest credit student was 14 years old, the oldest was 76. The median age, with half the students younger and half the students older, was 20.
