Nina Stewart

Nina Stewart was home schooled from third grade through her senior year. "I enrolled at Carroll Community College when I was in the 11th grade. By taking English 101 and English 102 in the fall and spring, I earned credit for college-level English courses and satisfied my home schooling English requirement at the same time."

"As you might expect, my mother was very concerned about the type of education I was getting. Mom compared Carroll to her university experience and said she was impressed with what Carroll offered. So I continued my studies at Carroll."

"I never cease to be impressed by the friendliness of students and teachers here. I see them in the Great Hall and we catch up on the news. Just the other day I saw an instructor I had two years ago and she called me by name and asked how I was doing. That's typical of my experiences at Carroll."
