College President Dr. Faye Pappalardo was named the “2008 Good Scout” by the Boy Scouts of America—Carroll District. The District oversees the activities of 2,600 scouts in Carroll County.
This annual award is given to an individual who exemplifies in his or her daily life the ideals of the Boy Scouts of America as expressed in the Scout Oath and Law. Recipients are chosen for their outstanding community service as evidenced by the leadership they have given to many worthwhile organizations, as well as the respect and esteem in which they are held by their colleagues. The award was presented at the Carroll County Good Scout Breakfast held on December 3, 2008 at the Wakefield Valley Conference Center.
