Microsoft Across America Truck Visits College

The Microsoft Across America Truck, a traveling educational showcase of software solutions for business, visited Carroll Community College on Friday, Sept. 21, 2007.

Interactive demonstrations were conducted between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at workstations inside the 42-foot truck.

“To complement the college’s emphasis on workforce development and business training in the County, Carroll wanted to expose the community to the most up-to-date tools available for business,” said Kathy Menasche, senior director of Workforce and Business Development.

The Carroll Technology Council partnered with the college to host the event.
